Indigo Gentry (13) and Abigail O'Dwyer (10) won a gold each in the 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle respectively.

Simon Killick, Monson Swim academy coach said “It is great to see so many of the younger Monson swimmers do so well. Especially those who were competing in their first long course event which can be quite daunting. The weekend was very successful with many PBs, several last minute regional times and a high standard of swimming all round”.

Monson are in action again on the 30th April with swimmers competing at the SE Regional Youth championships. Monson are always looking for new talent and especially aspiring 8 and 9-year-old boys and girls for the Monson Academy to develop as the Monson ‘stars of the future’.
